Flagler County School Board voted to close Belle Terre to members and the general public effective 6/30/24. After that use of the pool and gym will be restricted to school students and those who rent the facility on an hourly basis. It is the intention of the Belle Terre Advisory Committee to serve as a focus for all members to collectively rent the facility for at least 6 days a week for a month. Initially we intend to rent the facility for 4 hours a day Monday- Saturday. To meet this goal we will need the equivalent of 560 members to purchase a monthly membership of $20.00 per month.
The Advisory Committee will keep all funds in escrow until we meet the goal of $11,200. If the goal is not reached all funds will be returned to members that have purchased a membership. If the goal is reached we will reserve the time slots of 7 am until 11 am Monday through Saturday for the entire month of July for the gym and pool. You may buy as many memberships as you wish and/or donate a membership to anyone to ensure we meet the goal of $11,200 or 560 members.
If you wish you may purchase memberships for a year in advance or on a monthly recurring basis. We will keep you informed of our progress and any events that may effect the rental of the facility. We currently have 1100 members using Belle Terre. It is our hope to keep all those members and expand if we are able. If we do go beyond our initial goal, all subsequent funds will be used to add more hours to the hourly rentals. With luck we may be able to rent the facility for 7 hours a day six days a week and another 4 hours on Sundays. Wish us luck and please help.
